First the car was stripped by hand to bare metal, this preserves the galvanising and means the wiring  loom compared to dipping the car . We usually only recommend dipping a car if the loom is already in need of replacing or the car has serious corrosion problems
Narrow rear quarters removed ready for addition of steel Carrera wheel arches 
Welded on galvanised steel rear carrera arches leaded to give extra protection
Extended boot with new galvanised steel front panel allows fitting of longer bonnet and longer pre impact bumper front wings.
Completed body conversion showing new genuine Porsche front wings and body ready to start preparation. 
Car was treated before priming
Primed and flatted three times to give a perfectly flat surface ready for painting
